“As solid as a family”

The entire idea was to hang from the very big ceilings of the not yet ready Marta Herford Museum in Herford, Germany. I wanted to project a huge video of the Dolomites filmed in my little town Fiera gi Primiero, Italy. I then wanted to hang from the ceiling, in mountain climbing gear and draw the faces of my entire family on three mountain peeks, as if I were climbing or conquering from a huge hight the majestic Alpes. The performance went terribly wrong. The climbing gear ripped into my hips and I had to live with a numb feeling n my hips for another two years. This performance was painfull in the real meaning of the word painfull. Therefor I decided to show you only the image of me before starting the performance and some stills from after it.
